Of course The Fray is a bit better..they acutally had instruments and got the chance to re-record it if they messed up. If you're a music major, you, of all people, should be able to appreciate all forms of music. You should just say that it sounds good and leave it at that. These guys are great. They get one shot at each performance to get it right. I'm sure you've messed up a few times before with no chance to go back and fix it right then and there. Have more appreciation.

Considering you are a music major, and you are using The Fray as an example and proof of your "expertise", I would consider you a liar. No person would claim they are the best of their class and expect that to win an argument. These singers are good, unimaginably so.
