It's an apartment. I feed them and they know to come by. Best restaurant in town. I've named a bunch of them — Mary is kind of a pain and a little TOO fearless.

But there are 5 new kits (babies) I just got video of, but haven't had the chance to convert.

I only found out by accident. Scribble & Tweak (my cats) will start the "chitter" if I pick up the laser pointer — I don't even need to turn it on, but raccoons were looking in and seemed curious, so I thought I'd try it. And there they went.

Of course, it was weird holding the camera in one hand and the laser pointer in the other...

Perhaps people who don't like lovable coons could use this as a more "humane" way of getting rid of them. Point yer laser pointer at the forest and make sure they follow. Repeat as many times neccessary. XD

I'll have to try this. Every spring some momma 'coon brings her little ones around for some cheap dog chow or kitchen scraps, and they play on the deck and stare at my cats. I think they've been passing on the word about the "sucker's house" for several generations.
