  • @Alysassy: Yes, that is correct. Magnesium has 12 electrons, and that is the correct configuration for those 12. You will notice that the first example in the video has 13 electrons (Al), with the same configuration except that there is one additional electron, shown as 3p1.

  • For Mg shouldn't it be 1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2?!
