  • Gracias por esta filmaciòn que has hecho !. A pesar de no haber estado presente ese dia, estas imagines me hacen sentir la emociòn que debe haber sido estar en ese momento alli . Gracias por compartir este video

  • The best Marshallin in history.

  • magnifica cantante de opera...........la adoro ....bellisima voz......con una interioridad excelsa

  • It was an amazing night. I had only seen Kiri in "Vanessa" so it was nice to see her in a "real" opera. She was the only one in true traditional period costume because she honors the composer and his family's wish that the operas always be done that way. The only Strauss she did in more modern dress was "Capriccio" and that one is odd anyway. The bamboo was only there when the Baron was being "caught". A symbol, I guess for the tangled web. She was great and I am glad I was able to be there.

  • There will NEVER be a Marschallin to match Kiri. How youthful she sounds, even now.

  • Sad to see her put aside the part, but, for me, there will never be anyone who can even come close to Dame Kiri's portrayal of the Marschallin...

For those that were there in Cologne, please tell me about the performance itself- was she wigged and had just removed it for the final bows, and what about the bamboo sets?? Thanks...

  • ... 'orrible big frock ! Note how lovely she looked in the Royal Opera production....

  • Is this Dame Kiri's farewell from the stage? I sure hope it wasn't

  • I was there. Magic moment!

  • Shame that we don't see any of the Inszenierung or acting but thanks for the music!
