  • look i'm tired of having to argue with ignorant people but once again the point we were proving is the king has little role in the government he's a figure head! and that law is still around because the PEOPLE don't want the king to be insulted; HE HAS LITTLE POWER and so all he can do is pardon them(which he does); its probably hard for you to understand since its a different culture but you can't just base it on your subjective values you have to be more objective and open minded

  • Well done !!!

  • thankies for watching =D

  • what are you talking about? O.o

  • as far as the economic corruption goes yes Thailand was corrupt but the king is not directly involved with the goverment you keep wanting to pin the faults of the goverment on someone who is not directly involved with them yes the king has political influence because he has done good things for his people influence not direct power

  • You are being very arrogant thinking that this topic is too complex for us. What do you mean saying to look at our own country this has nothing to do with the state of affairs in our country so why bring it in?

  • all i can say is this on the matter, cause im not going to go into overseas politics... look at your own country first for fuck sake... before you delve into others.. its to complex 4 you.. and im not being insulting honestly people.. its just that other cultures politics have to take into opinion economics and the entire infrastructure of the countrys' finances which by the way makes it 1 of the most corrupt countrys' in the world

  • maybe instead of insulting us you could share your arguement with us? Hey! How about that? An actual debate instead of name calling? Revolutionary idea don't you think?

  • man you dont have a clue... go back to school

  • He does his best for the Thais & thats why they all love him because their really greatful. We're not forcing anyone to love his majesty, we just wanted to tell people the good he's done & to show tht there are non-Thais who respect him. Its just as GoblinKing2128 said. If u dont feel that way for the king, fine thats how u feel we cant change & force u how to feel.

  • We dont worship him, they just appreciate everything he's done. Maybe its hard for u to understand but the king has basically done alot for the Thais, even seeing their problems personally. We cant do much for His Majesty except show him how greatful we are.

  • The people love their king because he has done good things for them, there is nothing wrong about that. If the king really wanted a slavish devotion wouldn't he inforce the Leste Majeste? Also, in the modern world we have tolerance for other peoples cultures, we are not out to convert everyone.
