The Fairtax at a national level is insane.
Ask Huck how Michigan would PAY 30% sales tax on all its spending?
How would every city in Michigan pay it?
That's right PAY it. At federal level, Fairtax applies to all cities, and states too.
Read the Fairtax literature -- it taxes all GOVERNMENT spending. It's insane nonsense -- and they knkow it.
No wonder they avoid hearings under oath for 12 years.
Fairtax sounds great, but it's a hoax, a farce, and the leaders know it.

It would be good to have a link to the details of the "Fair Tax" concept. We have a unique limitation in Michigan in that our state constitution forbids deficit spending. The problem is that most people don't understand how our state's budget is constructed. We may need to raise some taxes here, but without knowing where it's going, it's just another Michigan J. Frog bailout.
