Thank you, I am looking forward to doing more videos. We were under-equipped and I promise to do better next time. As you can see, the broadfork is not a terrible tool to use. With a little practice and some good soil, it's really easy. I planted some carrots in the bed I was working. I've never grown carrots before, so we'll see how it goes. The soil was loose way down deep, as you could see.

Larry, check out my new broadfork video if you want to see why the improper, wild jumping up and down is necessary. My old all-steel broadfork (which I broke!) had 12" tines and still did not cut deep enough into my clay soil, as my blunted carrots attest. I'm sure your broadfork is great for light, loose soil--but not everyone is so blessed. My fork is a man-powered sodbuster, not an aerator, and driving those tines takes WORK. There is a tool and a technique for every job,
