Human trafficking is a threat to business and the community. Human trafficking is a $32-billion industry victimizing 35 million people worldwide. That was the focus of a seminar held at Columbia Basin College Friday, October 28, 2011.
Speakers included Washington State Attorney General, Rob McKenna; State Senator, Jerome Delvin; and human trafficking survivor, Khurshida Begum who is the South Puget Sound Community College ASB president.
