The Terminator - TECH NOIR Scene - Best of 80's Cinema

My tribute to the best scene in 80's action cinema.
The slow motion panning and the good music makes it what it is. Great work.

I saw The Terminator back in 85', and it has always been one of my favorites.
Cameron was such a great filmmaker back then. He still is - Partially.

Ripped from an original NTSC DVD. With an *original* mono soundtrack. That new 5.1 sound mix is a DAMN DISGRACE to this movie. What were they thinking?

Thank you for using the mono. So much better than that 5.1 remix junk. The same was done to Jaws which I hate as well. I was ecstatic to learn the 30th Anniversary would feature the mono.

I'm 33 and I think I saw it for the first time when it came out on VHS perhaps around '86. I remember as a kid everything about the film for me seemed so potentially real as if it could happen. The music and the whole atmosphere is something that never evaded me even to this date. Certainly I can agree with you that this scene is by far the pinnacle of action scenes. On my end - I can say that I have to look at Raiders of the Lost Ark with the plane scene and the music with it would be mine.

Thanks for sticking with the original audio. When I bought this on DVD years ago I was about ready to toss it in the trash until a friend of mine told me you could switch it to Mono.
