Take a look at this giant buck. It will likely be the largest buck shot with a gun in North America this year. Shot on Dec. 6, 2008. Midwest Whitetail is a semi-live online hunting show hosted by outdoor writer Bill Winke. To see more shows go to MidwestWhitetail.com.

  • @1969blackghost well wisconsin is midwest and its illegal to bait here....

  • What a joke, they said "WE PUT OUT SOY BEANS SO THE DEER SHOULD BE COMMING OUT ANYTIME" Bait the deer to come to a spot then shoot it? Mid west/southern hunting what a joke. Come to Maine any try that BS, you will see a "shooter" buck in a field one night, then MAYBE see it if your lucky one more time during the season. Get out and off your asses and hunt the way your suposed too, STOP BAITNG!!!!!!

  • *side note* I already have my monster so it as a lot do with my attitude. Also with all the future comments about all the illegal road hunting b.s, I was already out of truck and off the road when I shot, when I see bucks, I become flash.

  • @kylejkais Funny you asked, two seasons ago, my crew and I drove up three bucks going up ridge, 4x4, 3x3, and an average 2x2. Big bucks always force the small ones to cross first but it backfired this time. They froze realizing they've been caught open, 4x4 was behind with open vital shot, clear shot on 3x3, but I dropped the 2x2 further ahead with a neck shot instead. When I fired they said all they knew I went for the 2x2, but didn't want to believe it, won't let me sit passenger since.

  • @pheeny69 So you guys are telling me if that big buck and a fork buck were standing right next to eachother you would shoot the fork? I Doubt that!

  • @HawkEye4071 It all Tastes the same ya Tard, Young bucks tend to be more tender than the older bucks but thats just part of hunting. Most hunters prefer to harvest mature deer. Maybe you should look up some good venison recipes!

  • @HawkEye4071 ........... LOL I agree with you a smaller bucks do taste better.... I'd say a fork IMO

  • Awsome buck! Wish I could just see one like that!

  • the buck could score 265 without deductions maybe 195-200 with deductions
