Il Centro Europeo Modellismo Industriale è una realtà formativa operante sul territorio regionale dal 1998. Il progetto nasce dalla stretta collaborazione tra l' Agenzia dei Servizi Formativi della Provincia di Cuneo e l'A.N.F.I.A. -- Associazione Nazionale Filiera Industrie Automobilistiche -- per rispondere a un fabbisogno occupazionale espresso dal settore carrozzieri-autovetture.
La delineazione di un profilo professionale adatto a queste esigenze coinvolse, e coinvolge tuttora, una commissione di tecnici composta da designers, tra i fondatori si ricordano Giorgetto Giugiaro, aziende e modellisti esperti, provenienti dalle più importanti aziende del settore.
Attualmente il Centro collabora con aziende di chiara fama quali: Ferrari spa, Italdesign Giugiaro, Ducati Motor Holding, Honda Italia, Mercedes Benz, Pininfarina Studi e Ricerche, Fumia Design Associati, Stile Bertone...

The European Center of Industrial Models is a reality operating in Piedmont since 1998. The project stems from the close collaboration between the 'Agency of vocational training services in the Province of Cuneo - Consortium and ANFIA - National Association of Automotive Industry - to answer a need expressed by the employment sector of coachbuilders-cars. Many companies and styling centers were facing a generational change of the figures of models, with the difficulty of not having some structural and organizational skills inside the company, being mutated learning systems at work and employability workshops for young people with specific characteristics of dexterity and precision.
The delineation of a professional profile suited to these requirements involved and still involves a committee of experts models makers and designers from leading companies, including Giorgetto Giugiaro.




Currently, the center collaborates with: Ferrari spa, Italdesign Giugiaro, Ducati Motor Holding, Honda Italia, Mercedes Benz, Pininfarina Studi e Ricerche, Fumia Design, Stile Bertone, Husqvarna Motorcycles...

@ 0:39... with the car split in half of different designs especially different roof height.. how come as per usual in car modeling you wouldn't have used a mirror to "split" it in half and give you a optical full width view when seen from the side?? that makes no sense doing it the way they have it here.

I'd love to learn automotive design so bad. All the possibilities, all the spectrums of shapes and sizes, modifications, evolving designs so so so much possibilities and potential!!!
