I'm a r/c pilot and have found very few of my crashes to be funny and I've been flying since 1975.

@HappySCVResident Trees are like big, fluffy pillows made of leaves and spines, a lot of pilots will actually aim for the trees if their engines die or servos fail. Better that than risk a lawsuit from hitting someone!

wow, surprised me how well it faired. im sure it will need some work but i expected to see parts hanging off it.

@UtRadioGuy I find that hard to believe. Servo failures,FM interference,control horn breakage,prop failure, all will happen to any RC guy if he stays in it for any length of time. 400 flights on what-a blimp?

There is NO reason a RC Plane should ever crash! Think aboout it. If everything is done right you'll never crash. I've been flying the same plane for 20 years, and over 400 flights on it. Not to mention my other planes I fly, and NEVER had a crash that destroyed a plane. I've banged them up, but never put one into the dirt.

atleast its wings are still attached. i had one do the same thing as yours and it got destroyed.
