I think that they had to cut a lot of scenes from the final game (perhaps due to budget restrictions). This would explain the sudden romance between Carla and Lucas, why the game was so short and...*sigh*...the sudden appearance of an AI.

the fact that carla knew lucus for at the most 26 hours if that and her just all of a sudden saying i love you and she does know a thing about him except he killed a man and and cut a crazy ass symbol into his arm makes perfect sense to me
but this is a good game and if my ps2 had not broke i would get this game

The whole game seems WAY to Matrix-y and corny...
