Water seeped from the track surface, canceling qualifying and setting the lineup on points. Sterling Marlin started the pole. The video starts in the middle of the pre-race show, which features a very funny feature on Jimmy Spencer. Who knew he liked to garden?

Dale Jarrett took the lead and took his first win of 2002, his third overall at Pocono, after a flat tire denied Ricky Rudd his first win of 2002.
