Gauntlgrym
The first book in a new trilogy, Gauntlgrym introduces R.A. Salvatore's signature character, Drizzt Do'Urden, to the renowned city of Neverwinter.

Picking up where The Ghost King left off, Gauntlgrym will appeal to long-time fans wondering how their beloved hero Drizzt will go on after the Spellplague hit him on such a personal level. And as the debut novel in a fresh series, readers encountering Drizzt for the first time will find an easy jumping-in point.

Book Tour
Neverwinter, and its author, will be on tour this fall to celebrate the release of Gauntlgrym. Salvatore will travel the United States and Canada to meet fans and sign copies of his books. Visit DungeonsandDragons.com for tour dates.

  • Anyone feel like this book kinda felt like the Ragnoros encounter in World of Warcraft? I mean the whole fire elemental thing is fine enough.. I can understand that water elemental aspect (a bowl of water was needed to start the encounter much like the book).. but the fact that they fight half man half snake creatures who also happen to carry around tridents is just too much....

  • if hes dead why is he in the sequel

  • @ralaq The series died when they started all the orc bullshit. Really they've been going down pretty steadily since the silent blade. Of course the first books were so good, I still read this crap hoping Salvatore finds the magic again.

  • yea Salvatore is so sadist. he made them all die. why wld Drizzt want to live? of course he'd lose his kind nature. or go mad.

  • I wish there was an audiobook version of this.

  • the series died along with catty brie and regis in the spellplague bs. Seriously, the ghost king was the worst thing I've ever read. No plot, no explanation for what was happening, just random action and characters killed off in ways that didn't even connect to the actual plot.

  • i am glad that artemis survived the spellplague bs,and also included to the new series

  • Yay!, haven't read The ghost kind yet though !

  • I can't wait to read this when it comes in!!!

  • doooood i'm so a die hard drizzt fan
