Yes.
As you probably know from the other videos, you get Ken Hirai's voice from Hitoto Yo's music by reducing the original pitch to 80%.
Just to make sure you know. When you do change it back to the original pitch, you want to make sure to correctly compensate, since most software will assume that the file is at its original pitch when you load it up. Therefore, raising it by 20% won't work (120% of 80% will fall short 4%). 25% should be enough to reach the original pitch. (1.25 x 80 = 100)

@RADKingTech 原曲から4つキーを下げるとこうなる

めちゃくちゃいい!
これって、原曲より低くなってますよね?
キーどのくらい変えればこの高さになりますか?

@vietorkorean 1. He is Japanese. 2. This is not him singing. 3. This is a woman's voice with the pitch lowered to make it sound like him.
Yes, you are quite stupid. You failed to read the uploader's description which clearly explained that this is not his voice. You also assumed he is Middle Eastern, when a simple Google search explains that Hirai Ken is Japanese.

finally, a smart considerate person... very nice friend! =)

@vietorkorean I agree with you . I thought for at least 4 yrs he was half-japanese . Looks (like other perceptions) are subjective . No one should say you're stupid for stating things the way you see them.
-
how am i stupid? just look at him, he doesn't look like a Japanese!
-
@vietorkorean wow... are you serious? some people are just stupid.
OMG, this is a full version, lol. x] But it's different from the version which i heard, which has changed the speed of the original song too. Did u alter this urself?

it was not really *I* alter the song. but I used adobe audition program, which has the feature to change the pitch of a song without altering the original tempo.

It's weird I've tried modifying this back to the original tempo (using Nero Wave Editor 3) but it wouldn't sound like a woman. So my question is, what is really modified to make it sound from a woman to Ken Hirai's?
Ido013 3 years ago
Yeah, it really. The thing is, with most audio editing software, when you change the tempo, you inadvertently change the -pitch- as well, and that's what actually alters the sound.
For this particular clip, they actually went and directly changed the pitch, rather than altering the tempo. Hence, the song you hear when you play this video is already in its original tempo.

thx!

I only modified the pitch. that's it.
but maybe the reason it wouldn't sound like a women is the same as if you distort/resize a picture in photoshop, and you tried to revert it, and it wouldn't be the same quality as the original.
