lol. The Whirlpool Galaxy (also known as Messier 51a, M51a, or NGC 5194) not M15, is about 23,000,000 light years away. We are definately NOT in it.

Thanks for sharing the images and the message. However, please check your spelling and your facts. The Whirlpool Galaxy is M51 not M15. We are NOT in the Whirlpool Galaxy, we are in the Milky Way Galaxy.

@anth505 agreee. we are in the galaxy called milky way, in the orion belt. its impossible to take a picture of our own galaxy at bird eye view.
