  • @balistik94 Professor Butler does not advocate the application of jury nullification to robbery. If you listen closely or read his article, he refers to non-violent, victim-less crimes. Robbery is not a victim-less crime. Therefore, your hypothetical question is irrelevant in his application of jury nullification.

  • @Qotsage420 So if your house got robbed and nobody got hurt (non violent crime) you would be cool with the thief being acquitted if he's black and the jury is black? Come on now.

  • @smileyraw Yeah, liberty is bullshit. down with liberty! down with nullification!

  • Professor Butler your totally correct. I was just sitting in a jury selection process and I was thinking about this proposition. Our prisons are ridiculously overcrowded with non-violent non-harmful so called criminals who only get radicalized as a result of our justice system. It doesn't work.

  • what bollocks.

  • That guy must have been a crappy lawyer.

  • Butler is correct. Jury nullification FTW!

  • "I trust the jurisdiction, more than I trust the congress, ma'm."

  • Very well put. The first comment on this show is the best I have heard in awhile

  • i disagree with what bill maher says about the oj case. the case shouldnt b about the lawyers. it should have been about the actual crime that was committed. this is how the justice system fails the poor since they dont have great lawyers when it shouldnt even be about the lawyers. the people in ojs case had hard evidence right in front of them.
