should i cut out the spot where you cut it out or not.........would it make a diffrence the plunger im using is supprizingly from 1925

a matter of taste. Plungers are cheap, so you might want to buy a new one and cut that up if you don't want to cut up the sweet (I hope!) 1925 plunger.....
