Featuring the superstar line up of Australian legend Jimmy Barnes , Deep Purple's Steve Morse & Don Airey and OZZY's Bob Daisley & Lee Kerslake, this live version of the classic OZZY OSBOURNE number was performed in Sydney April 2004 on live TV
classics like little dolls and over the mountain showcased just how awesome Kerslake was-The real crime was people were led to believe that Aldridge was the drummer-Lee and Bob- 2 of the best ever and thats not overstated
Everyone keeps calling this a cover, if you are playing a song you wrote, it is not. It is a different version of your song.
I saw Rhodes on the Blizzard tour. Morse does a fine job. Different, but solid.
I think it would in fact be lame if Morse and Barnes were trying to mimic Rhodes and Ozzy. And to all the haters out there, obviously none of you have seen Ozzy live in the last 25 years, his live vocal signal has more processing on it than Lady Gaga. Barnes can really fucking sing...
@Th0masBivens you are 100% right about that...Ozzy fu*ked them but good ...Bob Daisley did most of the songs (if not all) on Ozzy's first 4 or 5 LPs...right up till no more tears
@purpelaar if anything, i would say vice-versa of your comment. Theyre all highly talented in their own right. i doubt youd have 1/8th of the talent of any of each of these band members.
Daisley, Kerslake, and Rhoads saved Ozzy's career after he was fired from Black Sabbath. Daisley didn't "just play bass" for Ozzy's first 2 solo albums. He wrote most of the music with Rhoads, and he wrote the lyrics as well. Kerslake's drumming made the music work beautifully. After the $ rolled in, Ozzy thanked Daisley and Kerslake for "Blizzard" and "Diary" by kicking them out of "his" band and trying to steal all of their" royalties.

@howardrevolution100
And who are you?
You are one of those who were born skinny and can eat everything without gaining an ounce?
Lets wait and see when you are older or maybe getting health problems an no more able to get the weight off.
Very stupid little film about the death of RJ Dio on your page btw.
It says about NILL.

@erikouwehand
No interviews about it?
Its been known for decades and very much in the news because Sharon and Ozzy whiped off the parts of Kerslake and Daisley for a reissue.
VERY RUDE!!!!

@purpelaar someone that actually knows what the F--- theyre talking has a much better understanding & ability to judge it.
Youre just another over-opinionated critic, youve clearly got no idea what youre talking about.

Always that annoying argument.
If I go buy a bread I am able to judge if he makes good bread or not and not having to be baker myself.
The fact that SM was voted so highly among his so called musician peers tells me evrything about the worth of their opinion.
