I am a photojournalist that is seeking a full time employment in medium or large markets. I have six years as a photographer and I am qualified for your current opening.
I graduated from Arkansas State University with a 2.8 GPA. I majored in Radio and Television Production, earning my Bachelors of Science Degree in Communications. I also have an emphasis in New Media Production.
My background consists of shooting stories for daily newscast, operating live trucks, three point lighting, audio, non-linear and linear editing, etc. I have also shot several sporting events, including the 2006 SEC Championship game. Im also a member of the NPPA, have trained on gyro helicopter cameras and DSNG satellite set-up experience. I understand what it means to be a team player, and I like to get the job done right the first time. Im a creative shooter and I love working with people in order to help them communicate their stories. I feel what I shoot, is just as important to me, as the story is to my reporter and viewers.
