This video shows where I believe some of the elements of Princess Peach's Castle have been derived from. I show the original and then how it was translated into Super Smash Bros. Melee. I put text in the video to explain what I'm trying to show. The Super Mario World video I acquired from an emulator, the Super Mario 64 & SSBM video I acquired from my capture device. I suppose I could have broken the last part (making "!" blocks appear) up into its elements, but since they're all interconnected, I did it in one go. In retrospect, I could have added a few more things into the video (like platforms of "!" blocks and the sound of a Bullet Bill being shot in the Melee stage) but this video was almost done when I realized these things. I also have quite a lot left of this project and since I'm a busy college student, I don't have all of the time in the world.

  • you kinda forgot to mention the front of the castle's decoration. Peach was trapped in there in Mario 64. It would've been a great info addition.

  • ......But that has nothing to do with the design.

  • why you gotta make fun of this guy? if you don't like the videos then don't watch them. just give this guy a break and don't leave them these long condescending comments.

  • Actually the bullets being shot in SMW and Peach's Castke are called Banzai Bills. They make an apperance in New Super Mario Bros as well.

  • Mario and his boyfriend Luigi live on an Island in the Bahamas, Mario likes to fish and Luigi loves to cook.

  • @steiner1203 lol yup he sure was.

  • @younggunsfan Of course, you are completley right. Luigi got screwed with this one.

  • @steiner1203 Super Mario Bros. 64? I was not aware such a game was made. If you mean SUPER MARIO 64 then thats another story

  • Giant bullet bills are actually called bonzai bills. Just pointing tha out.

  • @Riciardos90 Agreed, even though I slightly prefer both Galaxies.

  • Just wanted to state that Yes, Boo's Courtyard is not shown in SSBM. But that is if you are going through the castle. Is SSBM you fight on top of the castle, and just like in SM64, if you are on top of the castle and look behind it you cannot see Boo's Courtyard, but just the hills and the blue background. Nothing against your vids, I think there awesome. Just wanted to point it out.

    Peace -V--

  • @twiligame Of course you can dude, you'll need at least 70 stars to fight the final Bowser.

To find Yoshi you must have 120 stars which aren't so hard to get so don't worry :)

  • Thumbs up if this stage should have made it into Brawl

  • @Riciardos90 I still dont have 120 stars and I wanna visit yoshi on the roof!!! for some reason you can play the final boss bowser with 100 stars instead of 120
