  • Who knows the name of this bass?

  • His name is Norman Scott

  • One of my favorite bass airs. The first time I heard this piece it was sung by the great Ezio Pinza

  • isn't it wonderful?

  • esta es mi parte favorita de Aida, gracias por subirlo, me costo encontrarlo.

es muy hermosa, por el coro y especialmente el "nume custode e vindice" de Ramfis

  • De nada!

  • @berlin194 Richard Tucker was very nervous here; when they came back the next week to do the other half he's much more relaxed and so is the rest of the cast; they even do, within the context of a concert performance, some good acting!

But you're probably correct; Bjorling's reputation far surpasses that of Tucker.

  • tout l'art de Toscanini,merci

  • Wonderful document!

  • If anyone has ever heard Bjorling sing this they will see any other performance as second rate.

  • Thank you so much! Now I can search for him in the hope to find more of him.

    Have a lovely day Valebare,

    Friedrich from Holland
