Just sitting here going back looling over old postings and its almost like seeing them for the first time again. I love this song and I enjoy hearing Hamilton, Joe Frank, and Reynolds singing it but I bet it would have been a big hit for The Grass Roots if they hadn't turned it down. It just seems loke it was written for Rob to sing but I love it both ways. Thanks again for posting. You do an amazing job and I so enjoy them. Thanks again, Rhonda

The Grass Root and Hamilton, Joe Frank, and Reynolds had the same producer. That's why they sound sort of the same.

It's been confirmed that Rob Grill died yesterday after falling and being on a ventilator for three days. He passed away in his wife's arms while "Let's Live For Today" played. He was 67. I saw the Grass Roots a few times in the 1990s, and this song was a highlight every time.
