  • Nice! Can you give us some specs? How many triangles and texels per second do you get?

  • @marcusfreeweb

    Hi,

    it's a old project, i can't remember exactely.

    but 50Mpixels/s

The new project is at 160Mpixels/s, Video on my profile (Home made FPGA computer) :)

i can't say how many triangles /s because the geometry in implemented in software and that 's the main limitation

  • Very nice! Do you have any project website with details available? What FPGA did you use?

  • @epatto

    Hi

This project is old, but the FPGA is a spartan3a700 with 50 mhz 16 bit 2 Mbyte Asram

The xilinx spartan fpga is not a good choose for this design

Altera cyclone II are beter (Faster,Bigger, bug free software, more little ram)

I work now on Cyclone II fpga terasic de2-70 kit

SDRAM 32 bit 133Mhz 64 Mbyte. that work fine but i don't have upload video again^^

    2 VGA output @ 1280*1024 : D

  • @epatto

ohhh i have forget ^^ with the new FPGA verssion, i have recode this game ^^

    with light effect : D

  • merci : D
