Actors Shelley Duvall and Danny Lloyd then walked about in the central section whilst the camera crew filmed it from the roof of the apartment building. Yeah, obviously, but then you can see Danny and Wendy walking around inside it. I mean you COULD superimpose the images, but it'd be tough work doing that so convincingly in 1980.
