CIFRA 5 -- Solari Udine

Solari Cifra 5 electromechanical impulse clock.
Made in Italy by Solari Udine ± 1965.
Design by Gino Valle.

This clock runs on 24 Volts dc, with a 2 second long impulse every minute to advance the dial.
The clock has the non-rotating armature instead of the rotax armature in the Cifra 12 on one of my other video's.

I run the Cifra 12 from my Bürk master clock at home which provides the one minute pulses.
I have fitted a bridge rectifier on the 24V input to make the clock advance on the same polarity every minute.

True. I have 6 cifra5's 2 cifra12's and 1 dator5.

The cifra5's i got for free.

the others I bought on the bay before the prices went mad in the last 2 years or so.
