Health Warning: How much proof do you need before you will realize there are health problems in the Gulf of Mexico due to the oil leak and dispersant usage?
The oil and dispersant are poisoning marine life, cleanup workers and the public. Everyday more evidence of the long term devastation becomes available. The Government is suppressing the media regarding the effects of the oil and corexit on marine life and public health.
Sorry to say the long term effect of this disaster will be catastrophic to many forms of marine life. Cancer, birth defects, liver, kidney disease, respiratory, lung conditions will plaque the cleanup workers and residents in the Gulf region for years to come. The damage will be similar to the devastation of an atomic blast it will just take longer but the result will be the same in the end.

Mile-wide 22 mile long oil plume spotted near BP spill
Scientists from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution on Cape Cod said Thursday that a large plume of dispersed oil deep in the Gulf is not breaking down; contradicting government reports about how much oil from the BP oil spill is still in the ocean.

BP/ Coast Guard carpet bombed the Gulf with Corexit poisoning marine life, workers & the public
BP's latest oil spill response update says the total amount of the dispersant used in the Gulf of Mexico more than 1,841,000 gallons. 1.07 million gallons on the surface.
But what most people don't know is that the active ingredient of the toxic chemical dispersant, which is up to 60% by volume, being sprayed by BP to fight the Gulf oil spill is a neurotoxin pesticide that is acutely toxic to both human and aquatic life, causes cancer, causes damage to internal organs such as the liver and kidneys simply by absorbing it through the skin and may cause reproductive side effects.
In fact the neurotoxin pesticide that is lethal to 50% of life in concentrations as little as 2.6 parts per million has been banned for use in the UK since 1998 because it failed the UK "Rocky shore test" which assures that the dispersant does not cause a "significant deleterious ecological change" -- or to put that in layman's terms it can kill off the entire food chain.
Corexit has also earned the highest EPA warning label for toxicity which means the effects of the toxic chemicals to the eye are corrosive resulting in irreversible destruction of ocular tissue and other tissue with corneal involvement along with an burning that can persist for more than 21 days and effects to human skin are corrosive resulting in tissue destruction into the dermis and/or scarring.
Gulf Coast Residents File Personal Injury Suit Over Oil Dispersant
According to the plaintiff's attorney whose firm filed the suit, for more than 100 people in recent months have received emergency room treatments for nausea, dizziness, shortness of breath and extreme headaches. Those problems, he alleges, are the result of exposure to Corexit. Hundreds more have visited their personal doctors for similar problems.
The EPA advised BP and the Coast Guard to limit the use of dispersants on top of the ocean due to ecological and possible health issues that may arise from its usage. BP and the Coast Guard ignored the EPA and sprayed hundreds of thousands of gallons of it above the surface of the ocean.
Many residents in the gulf say BP/ Coast Guard sprayed the dispersant close to the coastline at night and believe it made land fall making many of them ill. There have been many reports of cleanup workers becoming ill after they cleaned up oil containing Corexit. BP refuses to link the illnesses to the dispersant and its usage.

What I would like to see now is the count of marine life figures. How many dolphin's are left? How many whales made it through the carpet bombing of Corexit by BP? What are the numbers of gators and how have they been effected? I have seen the large numbers of fish and crabs dead, but have heard BP and our coast guard has been on look out to find and keep from the public eye the dead mammals. What are the numbers now!

For me it is clear, this disaster turned into the biggest mess ever. It could and probably will put all other disaster in the shadow.
Just as an example. In Chernobyl the liquidators were aproximately allowed to work 4 minutes out in the mess.
Nearly the same is going on in the gulf. Well it could be 4 minutes per day without a respirator. With the right protection kit (Respirator or Oxygen, and Protection cloths) it could raise up to 24 hours a day.
Make a decision.
