yep, i had a floor standing ticket, and it was the 7th time i saw metallica live, 3rd MH. ¿what pit??? And i'm still thinking the same. I will go to see again Metallica&Machine Head (&Slipknot) in Lisbon this year, Optimus Alive Festival, please come and compare! Good food, cheap beer, nice people, louder music, and nobody telling you that you can't cross a fucking white security line!!!!!!!

I was there and I'm not going back to London again to see a concert. English fans are all gays! Everybody was seated on their seats taking shit pictures with the phone... and nobody jumping or singing in MH concert! Please go to Spain or Portugal to see what a fucking concert is!!!!!!!!!!! Metallica were great and I was right at the front by the stage, I will comment that when I went for a piss halfway through the Metallica set they sounded better from about 20 feet back from the front of the stage. Lars drums were cranked to the max! And YES, I am retarded thanks for that.

I don't think Machine Head had their sound optimized for the kind of stage that Metallica like to do! Metallica's stage is always central so everyone around the arena has a good view! Machine Head play better with a frontal stage projecting their sound in one direction. Metallica of course vlew the dome off, they were fucking amazing!
