Sure, the movie was far more fictional than it could have been, or should have been. But, Kilmer's performance as Morrison was jaw-dropping. How many people do you know who can mimic Morrison to perfection?

It is this movie that made me realize that oliver stone is an ass who does not know anything about the doors. he portrayed jim morrison like a total failure. This movie sucks so much I have no words to describe it...

I didn't like this movie. They exagerated too much with the whole story. Prefer "When You're Strange" way better. It may be just a documentary, but it tells it the way it happened.

Ya know Val Kilmer is not good enough to lick Jim's bag right. I remember this happening as a kid and seeing it on the news. We used to bomb the local college station with calls to play a block of the Doors on friday nites.

This movie made Jim Morrison look like a sick person, he may have done all those things but the movie exagerated everything in this movie. I like this movie but its not what really happened.

@ViralVideoCriticBeta youre going to have to get associated with Joy Division before you watch Control. BTW, their main inspiration was The Doors. you can easily hear the impact that Jim Morrison had on Ian Curtis

@iamobeliskquake Yeah, I seen Walk the Line before. Never heard of "Control"...have to check it out. Jamie Foxx as Ray Charles in the movie "Ray" was pretty good.
