Why is this a fail? That referree was trying to keep track of multiple fouls (as told to him by other referees), the teams & shirt numbers of the multiple players involved (again, as told to him by other referees), how the rules impacted those fouls, what down it was, and who then had control of the football.

I sincerely doubt many laughing here, on the fly in the middle of a game, could have done any better with all that. Seriously doubt I could as well.
