Changing a car tire with simple hand tools.

This is the last tire that I changed on the '48 Chevy. I flipped the tire around on the rim to expose the whitewall so that I could grind the narrow whitewall a little bit wider.
I taped it so show how fast a break down and mount could go with simple hand tools.

That's the first thing I do is remove the weights because they can get in the way.

There are always different circumstances and I know how hard to hit it, be it steel or aluminum. This tire has been on for years and it takes more force than one that's newer. I've been doing this for 30 years and done hundreds of them,, from BigRigs to GoCarts.

what were you spraying?

is putting on rim just as easy or harder?

@BadMuffler I was spraying aerosol Lubricant , the other Video is about installing the tire.

id personally remove the weights first and wouldnt bang as hard as it seems you in the video i maybe wrong on how hard you hit but it seemed to rough and it could have messed with the rim if you hit it too hard.
