@underthejacaranda You're right that abuse occurs in many different places. However, rarely is it approved of and covered up by a man as influential as the Pope. There's nothing bigoted about opposing a system of beliefs that allows people to brush paedophilia under the carpet, or that tells places with a huge AIDS problem that condoms are evil, or that encourages homophobia, or that sanctions one of the most bigoted books around, or that discourages science and education.
