Lyrics: (Featuring Voice Of Stephen Hawking)

"For millions of years mankind lived just like the animals...
Then something happenend which unleashed the power of our imagination...We learned to talk..."

There's a silence surrounding me
I can't seem to think straight
I'll sit in the corner
No one can bother me
I think I should speak now ___________ Why won't you talk to me
I can't seem to speak now ____________ You never talk to me
My words won't come out right ________ What are you thinking
I feel like I'm drowning _____________ What are you feeling
I'm feeling weak now _________________ Why won't you talk to me
But I can't show my weakness _________ You never talk to me
I sometimes wonder ___________________ What are you thinking
Where do we go from here _____________ What are you feeling

"It doesn't have to be like this...
All we need to do is make sure we keep talking."

Why won't you talk to me _____________ I feel like I'm drowning
You never talk to me _________________ You know I can't breathe now
What are you thinking ________________ We're going nowhere
What are you feeling _________________ We're going nowhere

Why won't you talk to me
You never talk to me
What are you thinking
Where do we go from here

"It doesn't have to be like this...
All we need to do is make sure we keep talking."

  • David Gilmour is an atheist. He doesn't believe he exists!

  • The voice of stephen hawking? -_- He can't talk

  • I LOVE what flyoverjovin said "I stopped using drugs and started using pink floyd" Ha Ha Ha That was a lot of us back in the early 70's!!!!!!!

  • @Birdhouse29 It's okay, Birdhouse ..... not everyone has the sophisticated musical taste that we lovers of Pink Floyd do! We're special 'cause they're special; and we dance to a different drummer! It's a good thing, my friend. (but I do happen to agree with you!)

  • @TheJazzyjeff333

Amen to that, TheJazzyjeff - they are, indeed, so trippy! Although all the record stores that sell their music do stock them in the "Rock" category - I truly believe they are in a

category of their own making; as they are far beyond the confines of Rock music. There's one other musical artist that I feel the very same way about; regarding categorization - and that's Frank Zappa. They stock his stuff in the "Rock" section too, and he; like Pink Floyd; warrants his own category.

  • Heavy ..... I really dig this number. I've been a dedicated Pink Floyd aficionado since their conception; and each album they produce is a sterling winner. I am more amazed/impressed with each successive album they produce. I will never tire of their style of music - never.

They are "The Top"; as Fred Astaire would say. I saw them in concert during their Animals tour a long, long time ago - and they played impeccably live. They are professionals with uncanny insight.

  • PF... is an ultimate 1970's rock band that should have gotten much more credit. They are so above their time. So advanced in the vocals and musical talent. I am not much of a "rock type of guy", but they are soooooo "trippy" and awesome, I can't stop listening...... :-)

  • awesome

  • amazing video and killer Pink Floyd music

    more please.....

  • Sometimes its just for fun.
