this came out when i was in high school, although i was never plagued by the nutless issues that trouble todays youth, (low self esteem, suicide etc.. and other misc. loser complex issues) i always played this song if i needed motivation or inspiration, or to simply get me out of a funk mood..awesome song!!

@universe112 Because in comparison, everything else in LotR wouldn't be epic enough. Jackson knew that, hence why you don't have this one in the soundtrack and why Blind Guardian didn't make it into the project.
