  • Bill Maher does more for freedom than the MSM and FOX

  • I've read that Baucus has received about 2 and a half million in contributions from Aetna Insurance, so it's not a shock that the bill is a "blowjob to the insurance industry." Baucus has sucked so much Insurance Industry cock that sperm is dripping from his ears.

  • @jakejeffjohn Imagine if NOONE made fun of those in power. Now THAT might get people serious and effect real change.

  • @jakejeffjohn He gets rich off of comedy. He's a modern jester, taking the pressure off. If you make the powerful funny, instead of scary, people feel satiated. People have a feeling that something stinks, don't do the research themselves, and he comes and tells them in a funny way. People laugh, feel superior to leaders and billionaires, go to bed, and do jack squat about the problems the next day, and the day after...etc. Does it help create any real change? ...

  • Well, that punchline made me laugh. Thanks for posting.

  • The issurance companies are the good guys . They keep the doctors in line ...the doctors are the real bad guys of health care

  • @GOTU62 Yep, all great Democrats. We need to vote more progressives into office like Bernie Sanders and the others you mentioned. That's REAL change.

  • I think bill maher should start taking part in his only rallies...He probably doesn't even realize how effective he'd be, if hi did this, didn't get too many celeberities, people would come out of the woodwork and join this discussion.

  • There's very few in congress who genuinely represent the people. As Marcy Kaptur (D-OH) points out in Capitalism: A Love Story, the majority are bought and paid for by the corporate lobbyists (and many are blackmailed). Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) joins Ms. Kaptur in being the real deal, as is Al Franken (D-MN) and Alan Grayson (D-FL). There are others, I know, but they unfortunately are not the majority, that is clear. We must force public discourse on the COG plan, too-THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT.
