Packers were in the 1st yr. of transitioning from the 43 D to the 34 D, so they didn't have all the pieces yet. CB/Al Harris & OLB/Aaron Kampman missed 1/2 the yr., SS/Atari Bigby missed 4-5 games, CB's/Patrick Lee, Brandon Underwood missed the entire year, NT/Raji played @ least 1/2 the year w/a high ankle sprain, DE/Cullen Jenkins was injured for a bit, OLB/CMIII (rookie) didn't start until about 6 games in, OLB/Brad Jones (rookie) took over for Kampman....in 09.

Packers numba 1 rated defense ok not only did yhe cards but it was a fluke i mean huge facemask call even stevie wonder could see that hell even hellen keller so the ritefully had that game won so i hope the saints dominate the freaking colts and win

Wasn't your corners, they did fine. It was the interior of the defense. Greenbay was more out coached than out played.

well i dont think its over rated.
i think one. al harris was out. so thats a big factor.
and thir not over rated, they just had a bad game. yeah packers do need some improvements but i still think this game couldve gone both ways considering how late packers got into the game

well said. But seriously, Packers Defense in general was pathetic. The line, linebackers and secondary were all equally bad. I know u can't judge by one game, but when i saw Packers lose to the Steelers, some red flags went off, Big Ben threw for 500 yds. I just thought to myself, Packers D is not that impressive.

@quincee33 next year when we get harris back the secondary will be fine... this game proved we do need some lock down corners, we have the secondary just jarret bush and bell... arent a good fit with the 3-4

Packers defense is so overrated. I knew they weren't for real when they let Big Ben throw for 500 yds. against them. And then today, they couldn't even tackle CARDS WR's let alone cover them.
