Following the death of a popular young doctor, hospital orderly - Matthew Harris (McGann) - assumes his identity in order to break free of his somewhat sad and empty life.

He then manages to gain employment as a doctor in the casualty department of a hospital in Bristol. What follows is a dark and tense thriller with a great central performance from Paul McGann.
