I'm no Cena fanatic, guys, but I have to give the guy credit where credit is due. John Cena used the Crippler Crossface on CM Punk in Edmonton (Benoit's hometown) this evening on RAW. That was Cena paying tribute to the Benoit we knew in the ring and to the place that helped and inspired Benoit to become the phenomenal TALENT he was— not to the disturbed and distraught man he was later in life. Just food for thought.

Sorry but I am not going to remember Chris as a murderer but as an iconic wrestler and if people want to put bad comments to this, go ahead. I am just saying that I am not going to remember him as a murderer, Just like any other wrestler and whatever happens, WWE can't erase Chris from history because his history will always be shown like on YouTube

1st: It was Michael Benoit( Chris benoit's dad) threatened to sue the WWE if they mentioned any Benoit's matches/name/etc again

2nd: WWE was in involved in charities projects and the Beniot thing brings a lot of bad publicity, especially when the media is all over it and got the US government involved.

3rd: If WWE mentioned Benoit's name again, the media would complain again.

So like it or not, Vince did the right thing. Before you spout, learn your fucking fact straight.

@LiamCatterson exactly like rgiht now since the royal rumble 2008 they said "only ONE man has won the royal rumble at the # 1 spot and that is HBK in 1995" but the correct answer is "2" man has won from that spot and that 2nd man is Benoit 2004
