Braveheart is a 1995 epic historical drama film directed by and starring Mel Gibson. The film was written for the screen and then novelized by Randall Wallace. Gibson portrays Sir William Wallace, a 13th century Scottish knight who gained recognition when he came to the forefront of the First War of Scottish Independence by opposing King Edward I of England, also known as "Longshanks" (Patrick McGoohan).
The film won five Academy Awards at the 68th Academy Awards, including the Academy Award for Best Picture and Best Director, and was nominated for an additional five.

  • @beverage2008 i agree with independence for scotland but I think the UK should still exist by the change as a confederate type of government (a gov of less national gov and more independent districts). So if does, it would make scotland independent (along with england and wales) and the UK still exist, it should suite unionists and patriots.

  • @beverage2008 that way you will end up just like Greece... sounds fun eh.

  • @beverage2008 mate we paid of the debt of your shitty RBS which was around 7 times your GDP, so if you want independance we can pass that debt your way k.... still want independance... didn't think so lol.

  • @beverage2008 , yer dead right on that one beverage!!!(can't give a thumbs up for some reason or another) I bet its the english at work again!!!

  • @beverage2008 My Grandmother is from Scotland and honestly I think that England, Scotland, and Wales should be one nation; one island. It makes sense geographically, and after the the bullshit wars like during this period, the Act of Union brought economic stability via England and allowed Scotland to develop science, engineering and economics
