Eric Rose, Jeremy Stewart, Larry Wilson, and Brandon McCrae perform a video recorded audition for Musiq Soulchild. Video recorded by Glory Brothers Productions of Valdosta GA.
You guyz were awesome! (Mad Tight) !! Don't let anyone discourage you all. God gave us all different distinctive sounds that sets up apart from one another. I dealt with that in church too. Don't let people discourage you and just continue your walk with God. People just have to just appreciate the gifts that God gives us. You all stay bless and continue killing it!!! By the way I play keys too! God Bless...
@realmceo For the record, I have played and performed in churches for years before I became enlisted. Two, I wasn't trying to be forceful in my earlier tone. I truthfully believe any form of artistic expression, especially something like a performance of music, is a gift from God.
@mistakrunk Relax dude. It is, what it is. And, what you're telling me is, you don't play in the church. Okay. But, Jazz "chord" progressions and gospel music have been working hand and hand, longer than that last few years. Try almost since the twos inception. It's been known that the slaves started the "Jazz" sound. And they sang the music with...... wait for it!...... lyrics of a spiritual nature. Look it up and do some research. You're closer to God playing Jazz than you think...
@realmceo I still don't get how contemporary/smooth jazz like this gets confused with "church music"... I know this sound has become popular in churches over the years, but it doesn't change the fact this is just jazz without the lyrics of "God" and "Jesus" in it.
yal sound good, but wrong style for the gig.next tym do more easy groovn, not so much cute 7& 11 stuff.groove the music into a coma.great gospel sound mayb even smooth jazz
