@RecyclopsCXVII You can interpret from her final words to Angel, when she says that she's now on a different road and 'I'll be seeing you' that she does ascend. I took it as her just being on a different plane of existence. But I don't think had Angel not been cancelled they would have brought Cordelia back so I guess in that sense she was dead. Also, in the comics they establish that she did become a higher being, but I don't read them nor do I consider them canon to the show.

@fnanim1 Nah I'm pretty sure she's in fact dead. Here ascending into a higher being was part of Jazmine's plans so I don't think that's where Cordy ended up...again. Plus when Angel and Wes show up at the hospital the body they see laying down is implied to be Cordelia's actual body.
