how do I take out the underneath portion to install the batteries without breaking it can you do a video on that,by instructions is in Japaneese

It requires triple A batteries,not double A. I just got mine yesterday and think the ship is awesome.

The older one has more hidden compartments. But the newer one better sound effects, soundtracks, upgraded led system, and a cleaner sculpt.

Mine just arrived today! Thank you so very, very much for this review. Without it I would never have figured out the controls for the music and sequence for the WMG.
Question for you. I leave my remote and ship in the "ON" positions, but I find that after less than 5 minutes either one or the other (or both) turn off and I have to throw the switches on both into OFF and then ON again. Is this by design?

It's by design and a neat battery saving feature.
After a bit of trial and error I found out that it shuts down after three minutes of inactivity.

Yea man do a comparison please. I'm on the fence on this one due to the high cost.
Do a comparison from all angles/ diecast content / and special features so I can decide whethe its woth the extra 100 or so over the original
