Somehow this song and Pearl Jam's Jeremy have the same impact on me, like they are two lost twin brothers.

I think people have trouble appreciating his blues style vs. the sublime LOVE voice. Here, his voice is still in it's prime, but different. Maybe he's in his early 30s on this song. Even now, it is still very good, but also the voice changes over time anyway.

his voice may not be the same but the magic is still there you just have to open your eyes ears and heart to experience it peace brother
I really only listened to their 80's stuff but this is truly AWESOME!! Glad I gave it a listen.

Who is the singer that they keep showing at that live show? It doesn't look at all like what I know of Ian Astbury.

@NachosFairy - yes, that is Ian Astbury around 2009. He had hip surgery and gained a little weight , but maintained his beautiful voice. In 2010- he is healthier and mending and looking more like the 1999-2000 Ian Astbury- importantly, he is feeling better. Rock on, Ian!!!
