USAID Nepal: Election Commission Educates Voters

With the expectation that the Constituent Assembly election in 2008 would play a significant role in the consolidation of Nepal's political transition and stabilization of the country, USAID's Nepal Transition Initiative worked with the Election Commission to develop public service announcements (PSAs) on voter education. To raise awareness of the importance of voting and make voting accessible to people from all walks of life, this PSA was developed and aired on popular TV channels.
