Planet Caravan may be a cover, but that opening riff and the vocal flow is undoubtedly a RIP-OFF, as "Goin' to California" is so ridiculously well known and so elementary a tune, that there is can be no possible pretense of having 'reworked' it, or tweaked it a bit to make something "new". No different than a one-man black metal 'band' ripping off Hellhammer riffs and giving different styled vox.
