@krnannable So sorry about your kitty. Mine are my babies. I just lost 2 of my oldest in quick succession. I have 3 left. I miss them every day. Hope you're feeling better.

@verdew8181 Bless you for rescuing her...I hope you brought her to a vet. If she died in no pain you did all you could and I thank you for caring about her.

@FDroid01 Yeah, makes you realize it's about someone losing a child. Doesn't get much sadder than that. Have you ever listened to "Angel Band" by The Stanley Brothers? It's also on the excellent "O' Brother, Where Art Thou?" soundtrack.

I just lost a cat I rescued yesterday, she was someone's pet with a collar on. She had bad wounds although seemed in no pain. She passed from this life peacefully and this beautiful song helps my grief.

I thought this song said "kiss me lover..." I found out it says "kiss me mother," and now it brings tears.

This is Chicken Soup for the soul. I have watched the movie a hundred times and I still fall on the floor laughing at every scene. The music just takes you away. I'm fixin to R-U-N-N-O-F-T-Y
My grandmother was 85, she'd lost husband, children and grandchildren. The last time I spoke to her, she said, "I'm just tired and weary, ready to go, to see the ones I've lost, to rest". Years later, I heard this song, which maybe she'd already heard, I don't know. I just know it's easier to face the end now, I love the ones I have, but do not fear what comes next as the years pass and I get weary of this world. Great song, great version, thankful I've heard it.

I just lost my father. He was a lover (and a player) of bluegarss country and gospel, not to mention how much he loved O brother where art thou? This soundtrack is full of beautiful and fitting music for such times. It is really helping me through my grieving.
