First Dance at Wedding--"Together" by Lynn Minmei

My friends could not believe that my wife and I chose a Minmei song as our first dance at our Wedding. So here is the proof. It's actually sung by Sunny Hilden and was from "Robotech II--The Sentinels" (trademark Harmony Gold). I have to admit that I am a bit of a Minmei fan and loved this song when I first heard it. Luckily my fantastic "then soon to be wife" liked it too and so we used it in our Wedding.

Cool, but I think I have you beat as far as timing. My wife & I used this song as our first dance On Valentine's day, 2003. We were married in Alexandria, Egypt. The DJ must have thought it would be a god one to have because he kept my CD-r.

It's a great wedding song, too bad it didn't catch on more. But at least there won't be too many people using it like some of the other love or wedding songs, so that'll still be unique enough to be special!

Nice choice. We used "Together" for our 1st day song too, back in 1996.

We also used the 20th Century Fox Fanfare and Star Wars Theme when the DJ announced everyone into the room at the reception. No generic bride & groom on the cake either, we made a custom Han Solo & Princess Leia cake topper.
