A thing of beauty.
-
when was this?
-
Nick Lowe -- so many ways, through so many artists, he touched me
-
Just so elegantly played -- Mr Costello's harmonies, Mr Lowe's voice and Mr James Burton's amazing guitar playing. Thanks for uploading.
-
actually, nick did the original with brinsley schwarz
-
after John Lennon And Paul Mcartney This was the next fantastic duo, Thank you England
-
I used to stand in line with 200-300 others way out west London in the mid-70's, trying to get in to see Elvis, never got in. Brilliant. Him and Nick Lowe, the best!
-
@tjbeagen james burton also played on Gram Parson's two solo records! And then he some stuff with John Denver I believe
-
@fishbehindthesofa Those songs are not all about the same things. And I don't consider "Imagine" to be schmaltzy at all.
-
I wonder what year this is from? That is the weirdest hairdo.
Where is the har-mo-ney (sweet harmony)? These guys deliver it beautifully! Thanks for posting! Two of my favorite artists and one of my all-time favorite songs, no matter which version I hear!

A brilliant anti war song better (and less schmaltzy) than "imagine". Elvis's original version with the Attractions is still the best.. It has to be done ANGRY! Nick Lowe's finest song...
