PENDULUM SWINGS follows a man into a dark place in his life -- a place at which he arrives through a combination of bad decisions, and forces beyond his control. When he finally hits bottom,he is presented with an opportunity to climb out of his despair -- with a helping hand from a small number of people who could have chosen to judge him or write him off, but choose instead to offer compassion and grace.For our desperate character, the decision is ultimately his own -- and when the pendulum does eventually swing back, his new life throws up a whole new set of challenges and choices.
